Who We Are
A Community Development Corporation made up of a passionate group of individuals with collectively over 45 years of experience in a variety of relevant fields. We are motivated by the hope and energy of communities of color.
We know there are many individuals within these communities who are full of passionate ideas [and solutions]. We match this energy with the goal of providing visible progressions of hope to the community!
At D&C Communal, Our Purpose is to serve as a visual and active reminder of hope in the 5th Ward (and surrounding) community, and foster self-determination and reliance within these communities.
What We Do
We work with local communities to build stronger networks of the community's existing endeavors of revitalization and development, through a lens of GIS.
D&C Communal Endeavors works toward addressing 6 of the SDGs, using Our Mission of eliminating hunger and high health risks prevalent in Black and Indigenous communities of color.
